Some people suffer from the problem of thinness, especially in the facial area, due to several reasons, the most important of which are an unbalanced diet and excessive exercise. Some resort to taking medications that may harm their health, as well as to costly cosmetic procedures. However, it is possible to overcome this issue by consuming certain foods, following some natural recipes, and practicing facial exercises which we will introduce in this article.
Foods for Plumping the Face
Consuming Meats and Fish: Various kinds of meat, especially chicken breast, red meats, and fish, are rich in high nutritional value and contribute to cell building, which helps in plumping the face. It is recommended to consume two hundred grams of meat or fish, whether fried or grilled, daily.
Milk with Oats: Oats are rich in many essential nutrients for body health, such as fiber and minerals. This meal can be prepared by mixing three tablespoons of oats with a cup of warm milk. It is advised to add some nuts like pistachios, walnuts, and almonds to provide the face with essential oils for its suppleness, making it appear fuller. It is recommended to take this meal in the morning for breakfast.
Fruits: Fruits, especially apples, grapes, and bananas, contain numerous nutrients like vitamins A, B, and C, in addition to antioxidants, elastin, and collagen, which contribute to plumping the face, especially the cheek area.

Fenugreek Recipe
Ingredients:
- Two teaspoons of fenugreek.
- An adequate amount of water.
Preparation Method:
Mix the fenugreek with water and stir until a cohesive paste is formed. Apply the mixture to the face, gently massage it in, and leave it on for ten minutes before washing the face with lukewarm water. It is recommended to repeat this recipe once a day.
Shea Butter Recipe
Ingredients:
- One cup of shea butter.
- Three-quarters of a cup of sugar.
Preparation Method:
Mix the sugar with the shea butter until a homogeneous mixture is formed, then place it in the refrigerator until it solidifies. Apply the mixture to the face in a circular motion for five minutes, leave it on for ten minutes, and then wash the face with warm water. It is advised to repeat this recipe daily.
Exercises for Plumping the Face
Blowing Exercise: Puff your cheeks as if you want to inflate a balloon and hold the air in your mouth for a minute. It is recommended to repeat this exercise six times a day.
Yoga Exercise: Place your index finger under your cheekbones and move it in a circular motion for two minutes. Then place your finger on the jaw joints and massage in circular motions from bottom to top for two minutes. It is advised to repeat this exercise several times on all facial areas.
